Every year we run the fantastic Christmas Bazaar which not only kicks off our festive celebrations, but also is a critical fundraising event for the church. It raises around £5,000 which helps to maintain our historic building and our outreach work in the community.

Whilst sadly we can’t run the Bazaar this year, we’ve still got some really exciting ideas to get us all in the Christmas spirit and to raise some money too!

1. Get involved in our Christmas Raffle

Everyone who makes a donation to St Mary with St Alban before Saturday 28th November will automatically be entered into our Christmas raffle. Plus you’ll also get your own special star with your name on it which will be hung on the Christmas tree in church - simply donate here.

The raffle will be drawn on Sunday 29th November. All donations, whatever size, are very welcome but please consider giving what you would normally have spent at the Bazaar - if everyone that would have come along gave £20 then we would reach our fundraising target! And remember to Gift Aid your donation too if you can. If you’d prefer your name not to go on a star please email the parish office.

There’s some great prizes to be won with vouchers from Café Benedict, Elements, Cook, Ruba Lebanese, One Hundred High Street, Nandos, a Shellac manicure from Spa Nails and a magnum of wine from the French Tart.

2. Buy home-made decorations and gifts from Plain & Pearl

Plain & Pearl have been busy over the last few months and the fruits of their labour, including decorations, gifts as well as cakes, jams and chutneys, are now available to buy at their online shop for collection from The Good Wine Shop in Teddington.

3. Join our Christmas fun online

On Saturday 28 November, we'll be celebrating on zoom (please change your profile name to your child/children's name(s):

4. Spread the word about Christmas Lunch deliveries in Teddington

Unfortunately, Churches Together in Teddington's annual Christmas Lunch for elderly people (or those who are alone at Christmas) cannot take place this year but Christmas Day can be brought to your door! If you would like Christmas Lunch delivered, please:
