Volunteers Meeting for Teddington GlassDoor Night Shelter - all welcome to come and find out moreDate: Tuesday 16th October 2018Time: 7:30pmLocation: Parish HallDescription: Like last winter, we will be opening the doors of our parish hall to be a GlassDoor Night Shelter for Teddington each Sunday. We will start on Sunday 11 November, and run through until the warmer weather in late-April.
Please come along to find out about our plans for this winter, and how you might get involved. It will be a very relaxed hour or so, for us all to have a drink and catch-up, as we approach our 2nd season.
If you are keen to help-out this year, and didn't get the chance to last year, this get together will give you an opportunity to find how the Night Shelter evenings work: preparing food, spending time with guests, baking cakes & puds, and helping with the breakfast on Monday mornings. Volunteering can be done in chunks of 2 to 3 hours, or as a whole evening, is super-flexible and can work around putting the kids to bed, or whatever.
GlassDoor themselves staff the shelter over-night.
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.
