Richmond Inter Faith Forum Statement on the London Bridge Terrorist Attack

Our thoughts and prayers are with those who lost their lives or were injured in the London Bridge terrorist attack. Our hearts go out to the families and all others affected at this difficult time. We also want to take this opportunity to recognise the many acts of bravery from the community and emergency services that responded to the attack. In the face of adversity, people are able to come together in support and solidarity.

Terrorism has no place in our society. We at the Richmond Inter Faith Forum condemn these acts of violence. The individuals who perpetrated this attack do not belong to any religion, nor do they represent any of our beliefs. Their actions seek to divide us and we must stay united. At this time it is vital that we all work to strengthen our communities by building positive relationships to enable us to deal with these difficult issues.
