In commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the liberation of AuschwitzBirkenau, and in aid of the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust, LBRUT and the Landmark Arts Centre are inviting singers to participate in a special Choral
workshop, followed by a concert, celebrating Jewish musical culture, in particular that of East European Jews. A
wide range of material, sacred and secular, traditional and new, will be explored in Hebrew and Yiddish, although no knowledge of the languages will be necessary.

The workshop will be directed by renowned performer Polina Shepherd (Skovoroda) and the evening’s concert, in
which the singers will be expected to take part, will also feature one of the world’s leading Klezmer clarinettists Merlin Shepherd.

To book a workshop place (£20) or simply an evening concert ticket (£5) contact The Landmark Arts Centre by email: or by phone: 020 8977 7558.
