5 March 2023: Lunch for Welcare
Our annual lunch event was an amazing success. Thank you to everyone who gave their support. £680 was raised for Welcare, to support the work they do locally to empower families to change their lives for the better. And a note from Anna Khan, Cheif Executive of Welcare:
Thank you all for your hard work to make the SMwSA Lent Lunch such a success. You all make the event look elegant and effortless but I know that days of work go into the preparation and planning thank you to everyone but especially Margaret. As usual, the food was delicious and I especially appreciate how interested and supportive all the guests are of our work with children and families. Anna. www.welcare.org

Challenging us to be more aware of and take more care of nature. Last week we were invited to grow a new plant, either indoors or out, this week it’s to spend more time outside to take the time to enjoy what you see and hear. Click here for more ideas.
