The Memory Café first opened its doors on 17th November 2017 so this month marks its 5th anniversary. It was set up to offer a friendly, sociable space for those living with memory problems and their carers but also for anyone who enjoys companionship. Over the years we have welcomed many people through our doors, who have found a caring, supportive space and enjoyed a good chat over a free cup of tea or coffee and delicious cakes.

We meet on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at the Peter and Paul Centre, 1.30-3pm. On the first Tuesday we usually have a sing-a-long to some old favourites and at every Cafe we have a light-hearted quiz covering all manner of topics with something for everyone!

We are always delighted to welcome new guests as well as greet old friends. There’s no need to book, simply turn up on the day. In November the Cafe will run on the 1st and 15th. Looking a little further ahead, we will be welcoming the Teddington Handbell ringers to the Cafe on 6th December who will lead us in singing traditional Christmas carols. Please do join us.
