Banns

If you are getting married in another parish but live within this parish, then you will need to contact us to arrange for your Banns to be read. Please do this as soon as you can and at least 6 weeks before your wedding. There is a statutory charge for this which in 2026 is £59.

To arrange this:

  1. Check which parish you live in. You can use A Church Near You to do this.
  2. Complete the banns form  and email the form to emma@teddingtonparish.org

We will then let you know how to pay the fee, and after payment will confirm when your Banns will be read. Once read, we will produce a certificate to give to the vicar who is marrying you. You can collect this or arrange for it to be posted to you (£1 p&p).
