Thank you to everyone who came along to support us and the many local river organisations and clubs on Sunday, for this year's River Blessing service.

This annual service of thanks is to celebrate the importance of the river to the existence, work and leisure of Teddington:

The wind receded, the sun shone and the river was blessed. Our flower arrangement was organically made with sticks and twigs to create the frame. The river looked so colourful, with amongst other craft: 6 sea cadet boats and the brand-new RNLI boat. We also had some additional flowers and paper boats bobbing in the water, as part of this celebration. It was wonderful to see so many from the local community there in the Manor Road recreation grounds.
