Harvest Festival: Sunday 21 September: celebrating over lunch and supporting RichmondAID
On Sunday 21 September, we will celebrate this year’s Harvest at the 8am, 9am and 10am services - please bring your Harvest boxes to any service in support of RichmondAID's local food bank.
And we are busy planning a Harvest Lunch at 12noon that day in the Parish Hall, for a chance for us all to share a meal together: click here to find out more and to book onto the lunch.
And follow this link to find out more about RichmondAID's local food bank: Surplus 2 U. Your support this year is really appreciated by the team there and their clients.
These are the items they have been struggling to get recently: pasta sauce, coffee - instant, rice (microwave packets as well), biscuits and toiletries: shampoo/conditioner/shower gel/toilet roll
Though all donations are very much gratefully received.
Richmond AID is a local Teddington charity run by and for disabled people in the Richmond Borough. They support people of all ages with all disabilities, including physical and sensory impairments, mental health issues and learning difficulties. Their aim is to support Disabled people to live independent lives and to have the same opportunities as non-Disabled people. The cost of living crisis is the main reason their clients attend the weekly food stall. Also, being part of a 'community' is important as many attendees have made new friends through visiting the stall.
