Taking our cue from last June when we enjoyed a week of events in our own 'God’s Acre', we put the focus on the churchyard again recently.

On Saturday there were talks on churchyard history, bees, flowers and trees, a tour and a trail to enjoy. On Sunday morning, there was a service and dedication of a new sensory area at the east end, thanks to a grant from Richmond Council.

Sunday afternoon brought delicious homemade cream teas and cakes which raised a magnificent £607 for Building Anew while a Plain & Pearl stall offering vintage craft products using recycled materials brought in another £101 for the church. Guests were also treated to a handbell recital and an evening service in the churchyard.
