Anna Khan, Chief Executive of the Child and Family Support Charity Welcare, looks forward to speaking on ‘Building Emotional Health & Wellbeing in Children and Young People’ at our supper talk on Tuesday 21st May.

Anna will share with us some of her experiences and learning from other professionals from her career in the voluntary sector, especially her work with charities working to improve the lives of families and children. Anna has been CEO of Welcare since September 2013 and prior to this was CEO of relationship charity, Relate SW London, and Chief Executive of the Down’s Syndrome Association.

Anna and her husband live locally and have three adult sons. Anna worships at St Mary Magdalene in Richmond.

Welcare works to give children the best possible start in life by supporting families impacted by domestic abuse and relationship breakdown and increasingly the individual and group work programmes aim to build the emotional health and wellbeing of children aged 11-13.

Please book your place by emailing parishhall@stmarywithstalban.org or via sign-up sheets in SMwSA and SP&SP churches.

The suggested donation towards catering is £8 per person.
